| Photographer Elisabeth Caren has been immersed in the world of visual and performing arts since childhood. A Los Angeles native, her passion for the arts lead her to Boston University’s College of Fine Arts, where she received a bachelor of fine arts in theatre and film. Elisabeth began her career in feature film production and development working for distinguished filmmakers Barry Sonnenfeld, David T. Friendly and Academy Award Winner Kathryn Bigelow. Her belief in the power of image paved the way to a transition into entertainment publicity and marketing. As a publicist at B|W|R Public Relations, Elisabeth represented award winning filmmakers, production companies and a variety of corporate entertainment clients. She also served as the Director of Marketing at Lionsgate Films and at UPP Entertainment Marketing, with iconic global brand clients such as Evian, Lexus, Godiva, Makers Mark, Bombay Sapphire and The North Face. During her years in the entertainment industry, Elisabeth spent her free time exploring photography and was often called upon to lend her expertise and aesthetic in hiring photographers and selecting images for clients and press. Her background in public relations and marketing has given her tremendous insight into the needs of her clients and her passion for film is seen in the cinematic quality of her photography. Based in Los Angeles, Elisabeth specializes in portrait and entertainment photography. Clients respond to her easy going approach and her timeless cinematic style. Credits include advertising campaigns for film and television programs, album covers, interior design portfolios, fashion look books and over twenty international magazine covers. Elisabeth also shoots for AP Images and is a member of International Cinematographers Guild IATSE Local 600. |
